Zoe is remaining in New York to perform a medical rotation.
George is going to be a back-up singer.
Wade is going to concentrate on making the Rammer Jammer the very best Rammer Jammer it can be! And possibly getting over Zoe.
Lemon wants to have what Lavon and AB have. (Although, was it me or were there looks of longing exchanged between Lavon and Lemon?)
Lavon will continue his vendetta against Fillmore.
Brick and Shelby eloped?
Jonah will…well, do we know where Jonah’s going to be? Is he staying in New York?

The reason being the final scene between George and Zoe because George said EXACTLY what I was thinking. Also, because George and Tansy grew closer while Brick and Shelby became engaged. But the key moment for me was a confession from Zoe Hart in regards to Brick Breeland.

Let me start of by talking about the best part of the hour: when Zoe confessed to George that she “liked” him and George responded, “ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!?” You and me both, George Tucker, or G.T. as you liked to call yourself.

This whole re-hashing of George feelings from Zoe is SO Hart of Dixie Season 1. She chose Wade, end of story. George is now sloppy seconds… while Wade is the guy who cheated on her. It seems both dynamics have been tainted somehow.

George was exactly right, she told him to go find a relationship and that is what he did and look what happened. George is falling in love with Tansy and I love every second of it. It was really adorable to watch George call her brothers his “family.” This dynamic is becoming one of my favorites.

My favorite quote was courtesy of George shutting Zoe down: “Take smaller bites.” Ha! Best burn of the night goes to Mr. Tucker. I loved it!

“On the Road Again”

NEW OPPORTUNITIES / GLORIANA PERFORMS – After having a rough time in BlueBell, Zoe (Rachel Bilson) decides a little time in New York City might be the perfect opportunity to give her some much needed perspective. But a medical emergency on the plane forces her to complete the trip with an unexpected companion. George (Scott Porter) struggles with his constant relationship misfortunes, until he runs in to Lily Anne (guest star Amy Ferguson), who helps him with his heartache. When Lemon (Jaime King) promises that the Rammer Jammer will be having a special concert with the band Gloriana, she must scramble to make it happen, with the less-than-enthusiastic help of Wade (Wilson Bethel). Meanwhile, Lavon (Cress Williams) discovers that the opposing town’s Mayor has stolen something dear to him and enlists the help of the townspeople to get it back. Tim Matheson directed the episode written by Leila Gerstein and Len Goldstein (#222).

PRE-FINALE EPISODES | First a disclaimer from Dixie creator Leila Gerstein: “Zoe is in the middle of a nervous breakdown” — which we’ll soon witness — “since Wade cheated on her. As such, we should be seeing the remaining episodes through the lens of someone who has just had their heart obliterated.” Got it? Good. “Zoe may think that she’s now in love with George, and she may be,” teases the EP, “but don’t think that all hope for Zoe and Wade is lost.” Other Dixie deets of note: Brick’s illness will be unveiled sooner rather than later, “smooth sailing” awaits new loves Annabeth and Lavon and Lemon and Wade will experience more than a few growing pains in their Rammer Jammer venture. As for George and his gal, Gerstein shares, “After things with him and Zoe reach a head, Tansy’s not going to be happy about it — as should be expected.”

MAY 7 SEASON FINALE | “This is 100 percent not meant to be a series ender,” Gerstein laughs. “We leave on a cliffhanger, with everyone being sent off for the summer [and our plans to] pick up in Season 3 after some time had passed.” That said, “The finale is kind of satisfying for everyone,” she promises. The hour will showcase a more “grown up side” to Lemon and Wade — with both (finally) enjoying “a lovely victory in the end.” And, following her breakdown, Zoe will head home to New York — but just “for some distance;” not for good. For all the ‘shippers out there, expect some standout Wade/Zoe, Zoe/George, Lemon/Lavon and Zoe/Jonah moments during the final installment.

ACCEPTING HELP / ROB HUEBEL (‘CHILDRENS HOSPITAL’) GUEST STARS — Zoe’s (Rachel Bilson) attempts at online dating hit a few snags until Rose (guest star McKaley Miller) and Max (guest star Nicholas Podany) take matters into their own hands and play matchmaker. Faced with yet another set back with the Rammer Jammer, Lemon (Jaime King) and Wade (Wilson Bethel) are close to throwing in the towel. George (Scott Porter) tries everything he can think of to prove to Tansy (guest star Mircea Monroe) that they belong together, but she still has her doubts. Brick (Tim Matheson) and Shelby (guest star Laura Bell Bundy) decide that they might have acted too rashly, which forces them to make a difficult decision about their future together. Meanwhile, Lavon (Cress Williams) refuses AnnaBeth’s (guest star Kaitlyn Black) help in stopping the feud with the competing town’s Mayor, leaving her to take a different tact.
